Privacy
A wedding album is not a public feed
- ✓Each event has a long random link that cannot be guessed. An optional PIN adds a second check.
- ✓Files sit in private storage. Every photo request is checked before the file is sent.
- ✓Event pages tell search engines not to index them and are never listed in the sitemap.
- ✓You decide whether guests can upload, browse or download, and whether uploads need your approval.
Questions and answers
Do guests need to install an app?
No. The QR code opens a normal web page in the phone's browser. Guests choose photos or videos and upload them from there.
Do guests need an account?
No. Guests are never asked to register or sign in. They can add their name if they want you to know who took a photo.
Can guests see each other's photos?
Only if you allow it. By default guests can upload but cannot browse the gallery. You can switch the guest gallery on, and you can also require your approval before an upload becomes visible.
Are photos kept in full quality?
Yes. The original file is stored unchanged and that is the file you download. Smaller preview copies are used for fast browsing.
How large can files be?
Photos up to 30 MB and videos up to 100 MB per file at the moment. These are technical starting limits and may change.
How do I get all the photos out?
Download single files from the gallery, or download the whole event as one ZIP file with photos, videos and voice messages in separate folders.
What does PhotosPlease cost?
Prices are not set yet and nothing is charged today. The plan is a one-time payment per event rather than a subscription.
Does it work for other events?
Yes. The same QR code album works for birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, graduations and other private events.
