Wedding photo sharing, no login for guests: they never create an account with PhotosPlease. There is no email field, no password and no confirmation message. A guest scans the code, chooses photos and uploads. They may add a name so you know who took each photo, but they can skip it.

Nothing to fill in

The upload button is the first thing on the page. A guest can start uploading without typing a single character.

How uploads are grouped without accounts

The guest's browser receives a session cookie for your event only. It lets the gallery group one guest's uploads and show the name they chose. It identifies a browser, not a person: if a guest clears their browser data or switches phone, they simply appear as a new guest.

What you still control

No account does not mean no control. You can require a PIN, approve uploads before guests see them, switch uploads off, and delete any file.

Questions and answers

Do guests need an email address?

No. Guests are not asked for one.

How do I know who uploaded a photo?

Guests can enter a name before they upload. It is shown next to their files in your gallery.

Who does need an account?

Only the person who creates and manages the event.

Can I stop strangers from uploading?

Yes. Set a PIN and print it beside the code, and switch on approval so nothing is shown before you have seen it.

Are guests tracked?

No advertising or third-party tracking is loaded on guest pages. The only cookie is the session cookie for your event.

Can a guest delete a photo they uploaded?

Not by themselves at the moment. They can ask you, and you can delete it in the gallery.
